About John Ivison
John is a Columnist at the National Post and the Ottawa Bureau Chief. He has appeared on various public affairs programs including CTV's "Power Play" and "Question Period", CBC News Network's programs "Politics & Power" and "Cross-Country Check-Up", and CPAC's Prime Time Politics.
John has also authored several books including Trudeau: The Education of a Prime Minister (2019), a biography of Prime Minister Justin Trudeau into the last year of his government's first mandate and he has written for The Economist Magazine.
About Doug Porter
Doug Porter has over 30 years of experience analyzing global economies and financial markets. Doug is the Chief Economist at BMO Financial Group and he oversees the macroeconomic and financial market forecasts and co-authors the firm’s weekly flagship publication, Focus. As a respected commentator on economic and financial trends, he is regularly quoted in the national press and often interviewed on radio and television.

Dave is the Managing Partner of the Tax Service Line for BDO in Canada, leading the Firm's Tax Services team across the country. He is a member of the BDO Canada Executive Leadership Team, as well as the BDO Global Tax Advisory Committee. Dave has appeared on BNN Bloomberg, CTV News, the Financial Post and The Globe and Mail.
